This is Amazon's work from home College Customer Experience Agent (“CEA”) role.
This position will allow students to think outside the box, solve problems, answer questions, and resolve customers’ issues via phone and chat. CEAs will be challenged to leverage resources, think big to resolve issues and ultimately improve the customer experience. CEAs will be working with one of the fastest growing areas within Amazon and help create a format for improvement from onboarding, learning, and assessing the tools and resources given to Customer Service Associates to perform their role.
Amazon CEAs will also research issues, identify opportunities for improvement and create a project charter for roll out. CEAs will also be required to collaborate with other students in the same role to help promote/present their project.
This job is an hourly position and the pay rate is $10.00 per hour, except where a higher state, local or federal minimum wage rate applies.CEAs will also receive overtime pay at 1.5 times their regular rate when they work more than 40 hours in a workweek. Training for this role is paid and fully self-directed.
In this role, CEAs will have the freedom to choose their work schedule that he/she will build based upon their class schedule and the business' needs. From the start of fall semester through spring, CEAs will have the opportunity to work anywhere between 12 and 20 hours per week, with each CEAs working a minimum of 12 hours per week. Working hours will increase during our peak season (November through January 1st), and you may be able to work up to the maximum amount of hours per week permitted under applicable law.. You may also be required to work on any/all major holidays, such as Thanksgiving, Black Friday, or Christmas. Agents will be able to decrease their scheduled hours during finals week if needed.
Your current and home address must be in Florida. Any applicants with home addresses outside of the hiring state will not be considered.
You will be shipped a headset, Gemalto tokens, Ethernet adaptor and Amazon Managed device to the address provided in your application. Equipment may arrive separately.
