The ACES Sr Manager role represents a key component of the Amazon Customer Excellence System (ACES) in Customer Service, responsible driving ACES programs across Amazon Fulfillment. The Senior Manager, Amazon Customer Excellence System (ACES), will possess expertise in statistical analysis and deep knowledge of other areas of ACES. You will support our program with a focus on critical elements like statistical analysis and complex problem solving.


You will lead focused and strategically critical projects across the globe in all areas of the business as required to support WW ACES model areas. You will diagnose Amazon processes, identify improvement opportunities, prescribe improvement strategies and guide the improvement effort. You will be a caretaker for global best practice documentation and will facilitate sharing across the globe. Considerable judgment is necessary because you will be motivating others to meet the challenges of an extremely deadline-driven environment where explosive growth is occurring while achieving impeccable quality.

This position requires a candidate with the proven leadership ability to facilitate and guide the application of ACES methods to process improvements with impeccable quality levels in an organization with explosive growth. This leader is also responsible for teaching managers and associates in ACES process thinking and the importance of inventory control & quality assurance.





Basic Qualifications:
  • Technical (Math, Engineering, Science) Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in project management and facilitation of large cross-functional teams in business operations and technology process improvement areas.
  • 5+ years’ experience instructing Executives, Managers, Associates and CI champions on Lean methodologies and/or Technology Projects.
  • Experience deploying transactional lean, manufacturing lean, variation reduction, and design for six sigma methodologies
  • Cross functional Kaizen leadership experience
  • Experience leading global business partners
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of the seven basic tools of quality
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally – up to 75%

Preferred Qualifications
Operations or Supply Chain Background
  • Technical (Math, Engineering, Science) Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
  • Masters degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain
  • Strong analytical background, skilled with JMP or Minitab.
  • Mastery of SQL, Excel, Share point and Power point
  • Experience leading global, cross functional project teams
  • Experience working across different cultures
  • Experience working across different functional areas
