The Amazon CamperForce program brings together a community of enthusiastic RV’ers for seasonal assignments at Amazon facilities. As a CamperForce Associate, you will be able to choose from seasonal assignments in a variety of locations, depending on availability. In addition to standard Amazon benefits, you will receive campground payment benefits and an Assignment Completion Bonus.

As a CamperForce associate, you are being hired as a tier one / class M seasonal associate. As a tier one / class M associate, your job function may include but are not limited to picking, packing, sorting, handling packages between trucks and operating powered industrial trucks (PIT equipment). Working in an Amazon Warehouse
Sort Center: It’s no small job to get every order from click to customer door. Our sort centers are the first stop on the journey from the warehouse. You’ll be up on your feet moving, sorting and handling packages between trucks in this fast-paced warehouse environment. Learn new skills and build your experience by doing a range of different types of work. These duties will rotate on a daily basis and could include sorting, scanning and stacking on pallets. Use technology like scanners, computers, and handheld printers to get customer orders ready for delivery.

  • Amazon lets customers order whatever they need, whenever they need. Flexibility is key; associates should be open to working voluntary and mandatory extra hours and willing to work at a fast pace.
  • Even with climate controls, temperature in some parts of our Fulfillment Centers may vary between 60 and 90 degrees, and can occasionally exceed 90 degrees when working in the truck yard or inside of a trailer on the dock during a hot day.
  • Some tasks will require standing in one place for extended periods (up to 10-12 hours a day), while others involve walking around the facility, including climbing stairs – comfortable, closed-toed shoes are required.

Part Time Specifics
This role puts you in control of your schedule. Choose the shifts that work best for you now. You will be able to adjust your schedule in the future, as needed. Shifts are 3-5 hours. You are required to work a minimum of 4 sorts per week. The maximum number of sorts you can be regularly scheduled is 6 per week. You will be regularly scheduled 4 hours for each sort; however, depending on volume, your scheduled sort(s) may flex up or down by up to 1 hour. Although the maximum number of hours per week is 30, there will be opportunity for Voluntary Extra Time throughout our busiest seasons! Your schedule will be based on availability and determined 1-3 weeks before your first day.

Job Requirements
  • Must be 18 years old or older.
  • Must be able to understand and adhere to all safety requirements
  • High school, GED, or equivalent diploma
  • Associates must, with or without reasonable accommodation, be able to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
  • Operate carts, dollies, hand trucks, forklifts, order pickers, and other equipment to move large quantities of merchandise, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Operate powered industrial equipment (PIT): We provide special training to associates if they are chosen to do this role.
  • Climbing and descending stairs safely (applies to sites with stairs), with or without reasonable accommodation).
  • Work on a secure mezzanine at a height of up to 40 feet (applies to buildings with mezzanines).
Other Requirements
  • Must reside in a RV for the duration of the assignment.
  • Must reside in a campground for the duration of the assignment.
  • Full Time & Part Time opportunities
  • CampPay to contribute towards campground expenses: $120.00 weekly
  • Assignment Completion Bonus: $.50 for each regular hour worked and $1.00 for each overtime hour worked paid after assignment ends (Overtime varies per state and not guaranteed)
