The eCP recruiting team is looking for Sr.Technical Recruiter to work out of our Canada office. An Amazon Recruiter is a senior member of the recruiting team, serving as a primary recruiting point of contact for our ECP team, and will have significant influence and impact over the delivery of recruiting services to our customers. The Recruiter will drive sourcing strategy, identify and recommend process improvements, and partner with team members in the execution of these critical components of talent acquisition along with closing candidates across all level of technical roles. This role is niche since someone in HR or Recruiting “based” in Canada are allowed to extend an offer (Verbal or Written) to a candidate for a Canada based position.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The recruiter will be responsible for all levels of talent acquisition, recruiting, and recruitment programs, procedures, and plans. Serve as consultant and partner staying current on business and market trends, assisting on both the strategic and tactical level. Possesses strong understanding of client needs and hiring conditions external and internal. Provides advice, expertise and assistance to all levels of personnel both internal and external on various recruiting/talent acquisition related issues. Serves as trusted member of Consumer HR organization driving great partnerships with internal & external customers. Recruiters traditionally have one or more areas of expertise such as sourcing, interviewing/assessment, client/team management and candidate closing. Should do extensive partnering with all HRBP/HRM within the team(s) they support to stay up to speed on hiring needs and conditions. Provides sourcing and candidate generation to hiring managers across multiple teams, organizations across Canada. May be responsible for client lead/candidate closing as part of the talent acquisition process. To be great in this role the candidate must be able to successfully manage, prioritize and close searches against a timeline and have experience setting benchmarks, metrics, and understand how to prioritize to hit all customer SLAs. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ø Partner with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations through a deep understanding of return on investment.
Ø Be able to recruit passive candidates and possess the mentality to "profile people and gauge chemistry of candidates for fit and understand their motivation" rather than sell a role.
Ø Possess strong ability to screen, interview candidates within the framework of the position specifications and prepare an ideal candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline.
Ø Build and maintain network of potential candidates through pro-active market research and on-going relationship management; conducts in-depth interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high offer-to-interview ratios.
Ø Communicate effectively with the hiring manager and interview team to ensure preparedness during the interview process. Share and exchange information with all levels of management.
Ø Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing any new processes and fine tuning standard processes for recruiting that fits within Amazon's mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer.
Ø Provide a great candidate experience and act as a candidate advocate.
Ø Articulate in writing a plan with deliverable, timelines and a formal tracking process.
Ø Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent and identification of top performers for senior-level openings.
Basic Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Ø BA/BS degree or equivalent from a highly reputable university.
Ø Minimum 8+ years of progressive full-lifecycle recruiting experience within an international corporate dynamic and search firm environments;
Ø Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships.

Ø Must have experience with building and utilizing a variety of sourcing plans and tools, including proactive phone and internet research.
Ø Must pursue conscious cost-containment efforts in recruiting, continually seek new sourcing options, and develop creative approaches to delivering candidates to the customer.
Ø Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision.
Ø Strong consulting skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, as a team leader and member.
Ø Possess strong analytic skills with ability to create, measure, and scale the right workflow between candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team.
Ø Strong communication skills, organizational and negotiation skills.
Ø CTS/ATS experience with sourcing, tracking and managing candidates.
